TGM Kanis provides complete steam turbosets in package design or as single installation on concrete. These consist of the following components, among others:
Multistage steam turbine
Gearbox (optionally the turbine can also be designed as a direct driver)
Generator (2-pole or 4-pole)
Lubrication and control oil system (separate or as package construction integrated in the base frame)
Electrical engineering and control technology
Auxiliary systems (such as condensers, evacuation systems, condensate lifting systems, recooling systems)
In developing its industrial steam turbines, TGM Kanis followed the design principles of the former AEG Kanis.
Particular emphasis was placed on the robustness of the design for industrial applications and the resulting immensely fast load changes, while at the same time achieving high internal efficiencies.
BACK PRESSURE TURBINES
TGM Kanis supplies back pressure steam turbines in both action and reaction design (BT series). The turbines can also be designed with one or more controlled extraction and/or with several steam bleeds.
TGM Kanis offers condensing steam turbines both in action and reaction design (CT series). The turbines can also be designed with one or more controlled extraction and/or several steam bleeds.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & CONTROL SYSTEM
The turbine control system records the process and machine parameters, performs its evaluation and processing and the relevant control of drives and units as well as their handling, signalization and alarming.
